Lambeth Site Allocation update

On 14 October 2026, Lambeth Council adopted the Site Allocations Development Plan Document (SADPD) as part of the development plan for the borough.
The SADPD is an important planning policy document and forms part of our planning framework for Lambeth. It allocates 13 key development sites across the borough, helping to unlock investment and support the delivery of new homes, alongside new jobs and community facilities.   The purpose of the document is to provide clear, site-specific planning policies to ensure that development is planned, co-ordinated and delivers the greatest possible benefits for our communities.    The SADPD now sits alongside the London Plan, Local Plan and our Neighbourhood Plans which together form the development plan for Lambeth, providing greater certainty about how these important sites should come forward.
You can view the SADPD along with the Adoption Statement which is the legal document that confirms the details on our webpage:  Site Allocations Development Plan Document | Lambeth Council. They are also available for inspection by appointment at Lambeth Town Hall during normal office hours.
As set out in the Adoption Statement, there is a six week period during which people can challenge the adoption of the SADPD on legal grounds.
