We have been reviewing over the last year how to allow members who have moved slightly out of the Vale area to continue to receive community updates.
- MEMBERSHIP
3.1 Membership shall be confined to residents of property on the Streatham Vale Estate
situated in the London Borough of Lambeth and compromising roads or parts of roads
specified in the schedule appearing at the end of these Rules.
3.2 The Executive Committee shall have power to approve associate membership for any
one not eligible under rule 3.1 by reason of residing outside the roads specified in the
schedule, who can demonstrate a link to the Vale Estate either through, family, business or
shared interests by reason of proximity. All Associate members shall be entitled to vote and
speak at all meetings and shall be eligible for co-option to sub-committees, but ineligible for
election to the Executive Committee or as an Association Officer.
3.3 The Executive Committee shall have power to appoint as an Honorary Member any
person who is not eligible under rules 3.2 and 3.2 …Same as above.
3.4 The annual subscription shall be approved etc etc
3.5 Any member actin in a manner detrimental…..liable to exclusion by Exec
3.6 Any member whose subscription is 6 months in arrears…. lapsed
