MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL DUE

If you do not pay your membership by Standing Order then in the past your Road Steward
will probably have knocked at your door to collect your annual subscription when they
delivered Vale Topics. As Vale Topics is now digital, you need to ensure you make suitable

arrangements to pay your annual membership for the SVPOA.
Membership remains at £5 a year and is due from 1 st July each year. As well as continuing
to receive digital Vale Topics, this subscription keeps you as a member of the longest
continuously running residents’ association in Britain. Having a residents’ association for
our area gives us a stronger voice on matters affecting our neighbourhood. It also entitles
you to apply for a plot on our allotment grounds.
But, most important of all, you are supporting the efforts of local people to work together
for the mutual benefit of our community.
If you still want to pay by cash, then you may pay your annual membership subscription at
the Allotment Trading Hut, open every Sunday between 10am and 12 noon (March to
October) when you will get a receipt. Or you may drop it into the letterbox at the entrance
to the Allotment Ground (between 151-153 Streatham Vale), or around to my address, as
below. If you do drop if off, please be sure to include your name and address and let us
know if you require a receipt.
Alternatively, you could make a bank transfer payment, our bank details are on the
Standing Order form below.
Best of all please consider paying by Standing Order, which is our preferred method. This
ensures that your membership is up-to-date and that you remain a member until you
cancel the Standing Order, through your bank.

Geoffrey Cox,

BANK STANDING ORDER MANDATE

Please complete the membership bank mandate and return it to your bank.

Remember to identify yourself clearly so we know who the payment refers to when it comes in, for

example a surname, house number and postcode.

Please also let the Chief Road Steward, Geoffrey Cox, know you have set up a bank mandate
either by leaving a note at 57 Churchmore Road, or in the mail box on the allotment gates.
