As Vale Topics is no longer being distributed in printed form, you would be forgiven for thinking that there is no longer any need for Road Stewards. You would be wrong!
Whilst Road Stewards are no longer going to be distributing Vale Topics in their area, not everyone is contactable by e-mail and a few people have still requested a printed newssheet copy. Also, sometimes we will have information that we want distributed to all members in printed format. Having a network of members that are willing to deliver the very occasional leaflet to members, or even non-members, in their local streets will remain invaluable.
In the interests of continuity, we will continue to call these members Road Stewards and we hope that you may be willing to become a Road Steward for a couple of streets where you live. We may only need you to deliver things once a year, but having you on a contact list for this will make the delivery of information more feasible.
