OUR LOCAL COUNCILLORS
Councillors
Mark Bennett John Kazantzis David
Malley
Dave Malley and John Kazantzis have, since
being elected as Lambeth Councillors six years ago, been
closely involved in the work of the Association,
providing vital help, support and assistance in
promoting environmental improvements to the area and the
health and well-being of all the residents of Streatham
Vale.
Councillors attend monthly walkabouts with
representatives of the Association, submitting reports
to the Council on environmental problems that need to be
rectified - broken paving, potholes, graffiti, blocked
drains, dumped cars and many other problems.
During their period in office they have also backed the
Association's campaigns, including the reopening of the
Eardley Road entrance to Streatham Common Station,
improved parking in Glenister Park Road, to bring the
Croydon Tramlink to Streatham and to provide better
healthcare in the Vale. [See also Association
campaigns.]
